Everyone Loves Active2
To put it simply, Active2 is a game about shooting and blowing things up. It was created for tigsource.com's procedural generated competition, in which the main rule was to be sure that the game experience was somehow different every time for players.
I'm not much of a programmer, so randomly created levels and dungeons and enemies or whatever was possible wasn't really up my alley. I decided to go with a more visual route for the procedural generation part, and made it so almost everything in the game paints something onto the background. Each play will hopefully result in a different image by the end, and each play will also have slightly different enemy patterns, positions, and behaviors.
